Disclaimer: Eira, her family, and all associated characters are mine but they are playing the sandbox created by the comic Hurrocks Fardel, now available on WebToons (it’s catching up to where we were, old pages are being redone so it is a consistent look). Whether any of this ends up canon depends entirely on the artist, but I’ll try to be consistent with what information they have provided. ^_^

Eira squealed as she was swept up in the arms of a familiar stranger. “Auntie!” she said in glee, holding tight to the edges of boiled leather armor. She hadn’t thought Egor’s sister would make it in time for the solstice!
“Dance with me, snowflake!” Auntie Oline said with her wicked smile. “Or should I say rose? Your mother’s taste in clothes continues to be ghastly for you.”
Eira threw her arms around her auntie’s neck. “That is why you’re my favorite,” she proclaimed with all seriousness.
“No need to butter me up,” Oline teased. “Now let’s have some fun!”

I absolutely loved this scene between Eira and Auntie Oline! The playful banter between them had me smiling from ear to ear. Your writing style is so engaging and the descriptions are so vivid. I’m curious, how did you go about developing the character of Auntie Oline?

Funny story, I didn’t even know there WAS an Auntie Oline until I wrote this prompt. 🤣 I then realized Eira had to have someone to look up to as a more valkyrie type swan maiden as a child (since Senta wasn’t cooperating) and started fleshing out Oline from there as other prompts allowed. She is to blame for some of the adult POV prompts that are coming.
