RotLC 015: Early Morning

Disclaimer: Eira, her family, and all associated characters are mine but they are playing the sandbox created by the comic Hurrocks Fardel, now available on WebToons (it’s catching up to where we were, old pages are being redone so it is a consistent look). Whether any of this ends up canon depends entirely on the artist, but I’ll try to be consistent with what information they have provided. ^_^

Eira was happily munching on toast with goat cheese and honey smeared on it for her breakfast when her papa walked in. Early mornings were required for him, whereas Mama sometimes slept in if Iren let her. 

He saw her breakfast, the hearth, and then the flour on Oline’s cheek. “Do I want to know?” 

“Breakfast first,” Oline insisted as she fixed him a plate of the same as Eira. “And you should probably wake up your wife.” 

Papa groaned. Pausing in mid bite, Eira pushed the honey pot to him in hopes the sweets would help him feel better.
