Whether any of this ends up canon depends entirely on the artist, but I’ll try to be consistent with what information they have provided. ^_^

As much as she’d like to stay outside, Eira knew she had to take the basket back. Careful not to swing it, she came in the back door and was surprised that Mama had left the kitchen to Auntie. And Papa was still here? 

“I have the strawberries!” she said, bringing the basket to the sink. 

“Good work,” Auntie praised, helping her lift it. “And I have something for you too. A late birthday present. Would you go get my pack from upstairs?” 

Eira beamed and hurried to the guest room. Auntie always helped her feel useful and have fun.
